Elvire Emanuelle is an Actress best recognized for her leading role as Mo in the critically acclaimed and South by Southwest award-winning, Netflix Original film, FIRST MATCH, opposite Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (AQUAMAN) and Colman Domingo (EUPHORIA). FIRST MATCH was written and directed by Olivia Newman (WHERE THE CRAWDADS SING) and produced by Bryan Unkeless (I, TONYA, HUNGER GAMES) , Chanelle Elaine (COLLECTIVE UNCONSCIOUS) and Veronica Nickel (MOONLIGHT). Her work in "First Match" particularly stands out, showcasing her talent in a challenging and dynamic role.
In Elvire's upcoming film KEMBA (2024), her role Lisa depicts the best friend of Kemba throughout the story's journey opposite Nesta Cooper (SEE). KEMBA, based on the significant true story of Kemba Smith, is directed by Kelley Kali, a Student Academy and South by Southwest award-winning director and Academy Gold Fellowship recipient LALO'S HOUSE and I'M FINE (THANKS FOR ASKING). KEMBA's international debut is at the Rome International Film Festival and so far it has won the FLIFF Best True Story Depiction Award and the SLIFF Audience Choice Award.
Born of Haitian immigrants, Elvire is known not just for her acting commitment but also for her belief in the transformative power of storytelling. She views acting not just as a profession but as a necessity, emphasizing the role of stories in teaching us about ourselves, others and life. She trained with renowned acting teacher, Wynn Handman, at the Wynn Handman Studio in New York City.
