      • Elvire Emanuelle is an artist and writer, born of Haitian immigrants. She is known for the 2024 film KEMBA and best recognized for leading the critically acclaimed, SXSW awarded, Netflix film, FIRST MATCH, opposite Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jharrel Jerome and Colman Domingo.

        KEMBA was directed by SXSW and Student Academy winning director, Kelley Kali, (LALO'S HOUSE, I'M FINE (THANKS FOR ASKING)) and selected for a panel discussion on impactful filmmaking at Sundance 2024. Elvire plays Kemba's lifelong best friend opposite Nesta Cooper (SEE).

        FIRST MATCH debuted at SXSW being nominated for the Grand Jury Award and winning the Audience Choice and Luna Gamechanger awards. It was written and directed by Olivia Newman (WHERE THE CRAWDADS SING) and produced by Netflix, Bryan Unkeless (I, TONYA, HUNGER GAMES) , Chanelle Elaine (COLLECTIVE UNCONSCIOUS) and Veronica Nickel (MOONLIGHT). FIRST MATCH received acclaim from audiences and press such as Deadline the Los Angeles Times the New York Times and more.

        Emanuelle's journey in acting and her contributions to the world of storytelling highlight her as a dedicated, insightful artist. Her dedication to her art was recognized when she won the New Time's Best Supporting Actress Award for her portrayal of The Girl in Dania Gurira's "Eclipsed" at the Women's Theatre Project.

        Elvire trained in New York City with renowned acting teacher, Wynn Handman. She is the writer of the feature film TIFI and the short film THREE.

        Her name is pronounced ehl-veer.
